What happens when we die?
What if you are wrong?
Are you sure? Here's How I see it. It's not enough to just have faith. I can put my faith in anything but if it's wrong there's no amount of faith that's going to help me. That being said, I feel there has to be some kind of evidence for one's beliefs. If I'm going to bet my eternal fate on something, it had better be more than just an opinion or superstition, or tradition. I need truth and evidence. Here's what i've found on my journey to find answers.
This might be a bit simplistic but here goes. In this universe Something can't come from nothing. Regardless of how you
think this world came into existence,
something had to always exist. In my book this something that has always existed is called God.
Is there a way to know who/what God is?
From the beginning people have always worshiped God or at least wondered who/what God is.
Somehow it's part of how we are made. The cool thing is that God has given us everything we need to know. It's all found in the bible. God Holy, inspired, inerrant word. It tells us who God is, reveals his nature to us and most of all his plan for our lives. To enter into Worshop with him through our lord and saviour Jesus Christ.
I challenge you to study the bible. look at how it was written over thousands of years by various men. Despite attemps to remove it from the face of the earth it remains protected and intact.
You're probably thinking this guy is nuts. He thinks the bible is God's inspired message to us Humans. I don't make this claim based on faith. Many people/religions will ask you to give your life to them based on faith. Why would someone do that. There has to be evidence.
If you study the bible you'll find that the bible is historically accurate. It speaks of real people and real places. It contains hundreds of prophecies made hundreds of years ahead of time to prove that this isn't the word of man but had to have come from God. It is internally consistent which is amazing considering the number of different writers spanning thousands of years.
I could go on and on but let me leave you with a simple link to a site containing great material related to what i believe and why and other info on world views and current issues
