Is there anything you can do to get someone to believe in Jesus?
We can come up with fancy arguments and sad stories that pull on you heart strings
but in the end it is not our job to close the deal
The Holy Spirit is responsible for taking the seeds we plant and convicting the non-believer's heart
So when we are rejected, the person is not rejecting us but the Holy Spirit in us
Rejection is one of peoples biggest fear when it comes to witnessing
By realizing who they rejecting, it free's us up to be obedient and just share what we can
The rest is up to the Holy spirit
One word of caution
How can we expect non-believers to respond to the Gospel message if we never close the deal?
It would be a salesman selling a life-sustaining product
He tells customers all about the products benefits and costs only to then say thank you, Have a nice day
All without giving them the chance to purchase what could save their life
This is what Christians do when they tell others about Jesus but never say "Would you like to ask Jesus into your heart tonight?
It's imperative that you ask the question "Would you like to believe in Jesus?"
The words used can be yours but there needs to be an opportunity to come to faith in Jesus Christ
